課程概述

During this three-hour course, you will read thought-provoking essays, engage in lively classroom discussion, listen to English songs, listen to lectures on ted.com, and give short presentations. You will develop listening, thinking and speaking skills in English by doing a series of fun-filled activities under the guidance of your instructor. You will also learn to appreciate English poems, and even be inspired to commit a poem or two to memory. 

課程目標
This course aims to improve your overall English language ability and to help you find different ways to make English a useful, productive, and fun part of your life.
 
課程要求
Attendance and classroom participation are crucial. There will be required reading and follow-up exercises and projects. All students are required to keep a learning journal.
